NeoPocott DC is a Neo Geo Pocket Color emulator for the Sega Dreamcast. It is a port of Julien Frelat’s emulator of the same name.
This port was created using only free tools, free libraries, and freely available information. That means it does not use Sega’s Katana SDK or Microsoft’s WinCE SDK – it uses the wonderful libdream library written by Kayateia.
Please note: NeoPocott DC doesn’t have any sound. But, it isn’t entirely our fault. NeoPocott DC is a port from the original NeoPocott written by a team of people for the PC. We simply ported it to the Dreamcast. The PC version doesn’t have any sound support, so ours cannot either.
Screenshots
The UI screenshot was taken off a very old 14" VGA monitor hooked up to the Dreamcast with the VGA box. The remaining screenshots were taken from a Sony Wega television. None of the shots are completely indicative of what the emulator looks like in action. The colors are somewhat washed out, among other problems. Rest assured the real deal looks much nicer.
